Quick sketch of Eponine from Les Miserables



Ballpoint pen on paper. Eponine and Les Mis are property of their respective owners. I always avoid saying the following because it feels like an excuse, but in this case it's really true: the scanner absolutely butchered this drawing. I did what I could to correct things in Photoshop, but the original still looks much better.

I like this a lot. Her eyes are large, but it kind of remains reminiscent of the Les Mis logo! And this also looks like Danielle Hope who played Eponine in West End after playing Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. She's pretty good. :)

Glad to hear it. Thanks! And you're definitely right. The proportions of her face, including her eyes as you mentioned, are purposefully exaggerated. I do so many "realistic" faces in digital that its fun to play around with cartoony features once in a while. :)

I wasn't familiar with Danielle Hope. But I googled her and definitely see what you mean.
