For whatever reason, I love how you drew her hair here! Both versions, but especially the long hair... I just think it looks amazing.

Thank you! I suppose hair is unusually significant to Fantine's character and story.

I've just been sitting here staring at the pen strokes! And I love how you've made Fantine in the background actually look sick.

Thanks! My pen technique is rusty and needs work, but it's fun practicing. :)

Love this technique. Great work
Was it done on gray stationary and you highlighted the eyes, or was there some photoshop post there?

Thanks! I touched it up in PS, but the original is on grey cardstock. For fun, I tried using a white-pen-thing (I think it was an old gel pen?) on the eyes. Not sure how I feel about it.

Looks neat :D:thumbsup:
I really do like that technique, working on a gray base and building up volumes applying shadows and highlights. Though I'm useless at it :P
