With the way they ended the 2nd movie, it wouldn't be surprising that they make another one. Some people didn't like the ending of A Game of Shadows because they consider it a Hollywood ending, which it's not since Holmes lives in the books.

You titled the folder this is in as "photo realism attempt"??? Again, it looks amazing. Have you seen Game of Shadows? I thought I would hate it, because I'm a book person, and really despised that they turned my Holmes into an action hero...then I saw Game of Shadows. Still not my favorite Holmes (That distinction goes to Jeremy Brett, and Jeremy Brett alone), but I certainly like him. as always this is amazing. The gun is VERY nicely done.

Lol. I titled the folder with "attempts" because I feel like the term "photorealism" is somewhat subjective. Not everyone would agree on what's detailed enough to be considered as such. But thanks. :)

I haven't seen the sequel yet. Everyone who responded said they'd recommend it since I enjoyed the first one. Thus it's on my list of ones to watch when I get the chance.

The sequel really is good. I didn't enjoy the first one, yet I loved it, so if you actually liked the first one you'll probably love it even more. There are some really great moments, and I found the jokes MUCH funnier too. :) Hmm...maybe there will be some more fan art once you see it? (The Gypsy girl...I forget her name right now! Madam something or other... would look really good in one of your drawings, especially how you draw eyes so well!)

I don't really care for Robert Downey Jr as Holmes but I must say that this painting is very fine...congrats on the amazing job you did on the facial hair!

Thanks! I appreciate that.

I didn't go crazy over his portrayal, but I thought he did a good job. He added a humor to Holmes' insanity that I enjoyed.
