Sirius Black IS my favorite character from both the books and well......the movies, since I've been a long time Gary Oldman fan. The movies are of course superb. I have the best reproduction of Professor McGonagall's first costume ever done outside of the studio costume department for the movies themselves.....and yes, I made it. I love DVDs for the ability to freeze frame shots of scenes so I could do it. I am also semi-professional costume designer having worked at San Diego's Old Globe Theaters. I am very proud of the costume and every where I wear it, people want their photos taken with me, little kids have come up to me and huged my legs just because they love her character so much. I don't mind.
This particular piece does seem to lack realism but since it's Sirius....a man in in a pinstripe suit is ALWAYS attractive.......don't stop the pinstripes 'm dear they are fantastic!

Costume design. That's awesome! I noticed you just joined the site today. Will you be posting pictures of any of your work? (Welcome to the dA, by the way!)

Sirius is one of my favorites too. I liked him in the books and found Gary Oldman's portrayal really fantastic.

I like pinstripes too. They're just a pain to draw and paint. :XD:
