It's a long story behind it and rather personal as to why I adore this image. If he had blue eyes instead of hazel, he would look like someone from a vision I had. Again, LONG story to that. :)

Reminds me of Mandy Patinkin.

I thought the same thing when I finished this painting. I'm a big Broadway fan, so I'm huge fan of Patinkin. :) But he actually wasn't one of the references for this character.

Oh wow. That surprises me haha. And yeah, Mandy is pretty awesome. I will never forget realizing it was him in the movie 'Alien Nation' hahaha

He makes me think of Timothy Dalton's character from Hot Fuzz, just less grey hairs :) Loving the sneaky look on his face.

I had to google the character but I can definitely see what you mean! This was the first villain I've painted from the series and it was a lot of fun. :)

Haha, have you not seen Hot Fuzz? It's hilarious! :XD: Brilliantly written! If you see it around somewhere, I highly reccommend it. Oh, villains are just no much darn fun :meow: We all love them, sometimes even not-so-secretly LOL This guy's expression is sublimely villainy, and I love it!

Wow, this just so amazes me. I was eager to see your interpretation of Bling and I really am so happy with it. Older, confident, and a bit sneaky. LOL. Continued thanks. <333

Glad to hear it. :)

Painting villains (or even heroes with something to hide) adds extra fun to the conceptualizing and painting processes.
