That nose! LOL! Love it. The intensity of his eyes really is what strikes me in this piece. I like the very subtle tinge there. Almost not there,which makes it more compelling. Of course, like the others have commented, the scars are exceptional. And that hair. Totally want to run my fingers through it. Nice work.

Haha, true! One must adapt a different approach when painting in greyscale. When creating coloured artworks, the focus is usually on presenting realistic colouration. However, it's a whole 'nother matter with greyscale. However, I believe that both your coloured and monochromatic artworks are absolutely sublime.
Absolutely. It's my opinion that some people are too quick to dismiss black and white as somehow less than full color. To each their own, but I like the dramatic contrasts and shadows that greyscale can make.
