Hey everyone:
Long story short, October was a turd and I didn't have time to keep up with dA. But I have every of intention of ramping up production around here again very soon. (I feel like I say that too often.)
The Animal Photo Contest winners will be announced soon (I haven't forgotten!) and the Halloween fan art challenge that I gave myself will be fulfilled in the coming weeks.
I know most people think these update journals are boring and for that I apologize. (Most of you probably won't read this anyway. ) But I wanted to assure anyone who cares that I've forgotten neither my commitments nor my desire to produce new content regularly.
Thanks guys

cat contest/win a commission from me
Hey all,
We're living in scary times and I hope this journal finds everyone doing as well as they can be. If you're lucky enough to be able to isolate at home and are looking for something to do, check out Lintu47 (https://www.deviantart.com/lintu47)'s contest for cat art.
The prize pack for the first place winner includes a year of Core Membership, llamas, features, thousands of points from various donors, and a free sketch portrait of your cat or dog from me like this:
The prize packs for second and third place are also really fantastic and worth checking out.
Take care, everybody.
copyright strikes
Hey all,
I know I haven’t posted in a while but this is important. I just got multiple DMCA takedown notices for some of my fan art. This is the first time I’ve encountered this issue but I have received six notices all at once. Since the notes I got say that,”
“Three strikes involving claims against you with respect to copyright infringement will result in an indefinite ban on your account and will block all of your content from being viewed by others.”
…My account may already doomed. I’m doing what I can to figure this out.
I make a good chunk of income as a commission artist from dA so losing m
holiday commission sale [closed]
Hey everyone,
It's not lost on me that the last journal post I made was actually the one announcing last year's sale. It's been that long. It's been a rough year for me health-wise but I'm determined to keep with tradition and hold this sale. The catch this year is that these are very unlikely to be finished before Christmas. If you're still interested,

It's time once again for my annual commission sale. It's open and accepting slot reservations and you don't even need to risk getting trampled at Walmart to participate.

Not failing as hard as I am in keeping up a correspondence!
Past couple of months have been a drought for me, too, and at a time when I thought I was going to finally sequester a little extra free time to catch up. December in particular is going to be a crunch on multiple fronts; a friend of mine started a writing contest back in October and thank God he extended the deadline twice, or I'd never be able to properly finish this quasi-novelette. (People keep telling me I'm a gifted writer, and this'll be the first tangible test of whether I can actually produce a feature-length story.)
And I always look forward to even simple journals like this. I've talked about my fav protocol to death, and these provide the opportunity to converse with you in anything remotely resembling a decent turnaround he says, one month late.
